ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

For shareholders, the annual general meeting is an opportunity to voice their opinions and to exercise their rights of governance.

All incorporated companies are obliged by law to hold an annual general meeting for their shareholders. The aim of this meeting is to inform shareholders on the company's performance and garner approval for a number of resolutions.

The resolutions submitted for approval are :
  • Approval of accounts and validation of results
  • Dividends amount, payment schedule
  • Nomination of supervisory board members (if needed)
These decisions are taken on an absolute majority basis.

How to attend an annual general meeting ?

Anyone can attend annual general meetings so long as he/she holds at least one share.
A notice of the date and place of the meeting appears at least thirty days before the meeting in the 'Bulletin des Annonces Légales et Obligatoires' (BALO).
